Our seachange from Sydney to Kangaroo Island, is all and more that we could have wished for. A 2 bedroom residence with sea and bush views for us, a self contained apartment for visiting family & friends, 2 workshops, one for Christine’s pottery and one for my “muckin about”, a water wise native garden for exercise for us both, and modern 4 star, 3 unit B&B for stimulation, all with a laid back lifestyle on South Australia’s holiday icon, Kangaroo Island. However, the changing needs of our family and ourselves now mean that we must offer The Fig Tree for reluctant sale. We will miss the laid-back Kangaroo Island lifestyle and the interaction with our B&B clients, but Hamish, Dougal and Jacob are at the age that we need them.
